SEPTEMBER 2005
NATHAN MAHL - SHADOWS UNBOUND
Guy gets the original lineup of NM back together to see if lightning indeed can strike twice. The answer - I'm glad to report - is a resounding YES!!! And "Shadow's Unbound" is the proof! If you are a fusion fan, don't deprive yourself of this treat!
A stunning, sizzling set of prog-rock-fusion tunes! This album takes me all the way back to the first time I heard Jeff Beck's "There and Back"! Mark Stephens - ProgPositivity.com
Way back in 1995, Guy began writing a series of songs which were intended to be yet another sequel to Parallel Eccentricities (Contrast, Identity and Radio Rehab were the other previous attempts). These 8 songs have now been realized and released as Shadows Unbound.
Amazingly, the original lineup of Nathan Mahl have reunited to present this set of compositions, which also features lead vocalist JP Ranger (the "fifth mahlecule" from 1983).
